Open Roles

Show me your home, and I can predict your health.

The Well Home engineers homes that optimize healthspan, the practice we call Restorative Luxury. We're the first firm of its kind, founded by a doctor and designer, and we're early in a category we intend to own. This is hard work, and it's not for everyone. Six roles are open below, across partnerships, commerce, media, design, and finance.

Location
Remote, relationship-driven, with travel to partner clinics as needed
Commitment
Fractional to start, designed to scale into full time
Reports To
Founder & CEO
Compensation
Base retainer plus performance commission, path to full time and equity

An entrepreneurial hunter-operator to own and scale our Longevity Clinic channel. There's already a base of premier clinic partners in place. You should arrive with your own relationships across longevity, functional medicine, and human performance, ready to turn them into a repeatable channel.

What You'll Own

  • The channel end to end, run as your own business within the business
  • Relationships with clinic founders, medical directors, and patient coordinators
  • The playbook for pitching, onboarding, and growing clinic partners
  • Offers clinicians want to recommend, from in-home protocols to diagnostic packages
  • The referral and revenue-share mechanics that make the channel self-sustaining

Great fit if you can open a door and close a partnership, and you already have a real network in longevity clinics or functional medicine. Not a fit if you need a finished playbook handed to you.

Director of Commerce Strategy & Operations

Building the Engine Behind an Entire Marketplace
Location
Remote, may occasionally require travel
Commitment
Part-time, fractional, roughly 20 hrs/week, flexible scheduling
Reports To
Founder & CEO
Compensation
Commensurate with experience. 1099. Milestone bonuses considered

Help build and run the commerce engine behind The Well Home: the marketplace platform, the supplier network, and the client experience that ties it together. Our engineering team is already building the platform foundation, and this role is a true partner in that build from the start, not someone brought in after the fact.

What You'll Own

  • The commerce engine, built hand in hand with engineering
  • The supplier network, growing existing relationships and sourcing new ones
  • Vendor negotiation and affiliate or commission-based trade agreements
  • Product sourcing, curation, and custom client packages and catalogs
  • The metrics and P&L: GMV, margin, fill rate, supplier onboarding time

Great fit if you've actually built a commerce, procurement, or marketplace function before, not just worked a desk inside one, and you're comfortable across both backend and frontend of a commerce platform.

Head of Content & Community

Building a Media Empire, One Platform at a Time
Location
Washington, DC preferred for weekly on-site filming. Remote considered case by case
Commitment
Part-time, fractional. An individual role, not an agency. Hours scale with scope
Reports To
Founder & CEO
Compensation
Commensurate with experience. 1099. Bonus incentives on milestones

Take The Well Home's media presence and turn it into a mini media empire: the strategy, the platforms, the community, and the revenue it drives. This isn't a blank slate. There's already a base of newsletter subscribers and thousands of social followers to grow from.

What You'll Own

  • Content strategy end to end, with a phased rollout and real metrics
  • Multi-platform execution across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and WhatsApp
  • Growing the newsletter into a full publication and launching the podcast
  • Events: webinars, roundtables, masterclasses, eventually an annual summit
  • Building real community, plus sponsorships and revenue as the audience grows

Great fit if you're both strategist and operator, comfortable setting the plan and also filming, editing, and hitting publish yourself, with real, demonstrated proof of growing content and community before.

Junior Interior Designer

Residential, Senior Living & Hospitality Design
Location
Washington, DC preferred, ideally Northern Virginia. Remote case by case
Commitment
Part-time, fractional. 10 to 20 hrs/week across 2 to 3 projects
Reports To
Founder & CEO and Lead Designer
Compensation
Hourly or project-based. 1099 contractor role

Step onto live projects already in motion across residential, senior living, and hospitality spaces, bringing a wellness and longevity lens to material, lighting, and layout decisions alongside our Lead Designer. You're joining work with our standards and point of view already established, and we're looking to fill this one immediately.

What You'll Own

  • Design execution from concept through installation: space planning, FF&E, specification
  • Client relationships, meetings, presentations, and site visits
  • Client-ready renderings, mood boards, and furniture and finish presentations
  • Wellness-driven specification aligned with our Restorative Luxury standards
  • Vendor and procurement coordination through delivery and installation

Great fit if you have real project experience (three to five years), can hit the ground running on projects already in progress, and can juggle two or three projects across different contexts without missing a beat.

06

Part-Time Bookkeeper

Books, Billing & Financial Operations
Location
Washington, DC area preferred. Fully remote considered
Commitment
Part-time, fractional. Roughly 5 to 10 hrs/week, hours vary
Reports To
Founder & CEO
Compensation
Hourly. 1099 contractor role

We don't have an accounting system in place today, and this role builds it from scratch: assessing where things stand, choosing and setting up QuickBooks Online or Xero, and bringing our books to a clean, current baseline, then keeping them that way.

What You'll Own

  • Building our books from scratch, including choosing and setting up the system
  • Accounts payable and receivable across Stripe and Harvest
  • Contractor payments processed through Gusto
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts, Stripe, and Harvest activity
  • Sales tax tracking and clear financial reporting to the Founder & CEO

Great fit if you're comfortable starting from zero and building order out of nothing. Not a fit if you've only ever maintained books someone else already set up.
